Tempered beryllium copper is beryllium copper C17200 & beryllium copper C17300 that have been age hardened and cold drawn. Copper beryllium c17200 & Copper beryllium c17300 include high strength with moderate conductivity, beryllium copper C17500 and beryllium copper C17510 offers high conductivity with moderate strength. Beryllium Copper C17510 & Beryllium Copper C17500 are age-hardened and provide good electrical conductivity, physical properties and endurance. They are used in springs and wires where electrical conduction or retention of properties at elevated temperatures is important. The principal characteristics of these alloys are their excellent response to precipitation hardening treatments, excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to stress relaxation.
